This is a non B.S review of various confectionaries found in Korea.
I will provide you with food information … I will not tell you how to live as a foreigner in Korea, or how I feel living here, or how I felt eating a specific food… this blog will tell you two things about the cakes… Β YES! or NO!
FYI there aren’t nearly enough warnings RE: the disappointingly beautiful cakes here. I salute your purpose.
If i ever do a review of somewhere like Paris Baguette they will be included!
sorry I love Paris Baguette and Tous Les Jours!!!π±βππ±βππ±βπ
That’s fine. Each to their own π I generally don’t like either because of the oil they use and the μν¬λ¦Ό that they cover all the cakes with. However I have had good products from both places.
A Korean couple here in Ho Chi Minh City District 7 opened up their own patisserie. It’s really good! But nothing compares to American donuts and American birthday cake π
Except British ones! π
ukk, okk, I agree with you on that one! π
hahahahaah :)O
why don’t Brits open their mouths all the way when they talk? because they’re mouths are always full of sweets!
Lol totally understandable. Our sweets and cakes are superior!
so true! so many nasty cakes out there! Koreans will eat them just because they make a cute instagram photo!
Yup~ they’re all about the visuals.
Cafe Dore Dore in Sinsa –the rainbow cake. absolutely nasty.
I didn’t try the rainbow one. I’ve seen so many pictures of it but havr never been interested.
The strawberry one I tried was alright.
Oh really? Yeah I didn’t want to eat it either but a friend of mine just had to have it. lol
Sorry you had to go through that lol. Although not the worst cake place in Korea Dore Dore is not the best either.
I just wanted to say thank you for the like! I made sure to follow you. I hope we continue to support each other. π
Thanks for the like on my blog. It is fun that how our posting subject is so similar yet different. I will look forward to seeing your post. π
WOW. We love cake. We love this idea!x
This is the site I have been waiting for. So many cakes, so much disappointment. I’ll be eagerly trying your suggestions.
Almost all the pastries in Cairo were yummy especially Om Ali – a bread pudding. Love the blog! So important to know which cakes to eat…:)
Thank you for liking and supporting my blog! π
Vietnam has lots of rice cakes, or mung bean cakes π
How are the mung bean cakes? O.o
They are popular sweet dessert in Vietnam, made by mung beans, sugar, glutinous rice flour…Perfect treat to match with tea π
Thanks for the like! I wish I was in Korea!! π
Have you seenAzalea in Korea? As well as pink, there is yellow wave during sprinttime. Guess you know the yellow flower as well. ^^ . Please keep up posting about your favourite cakes so that I can try when I go to Korea. Thanks.
Great idea for a blog. Can’t wait to see more π
I’ve been waiting for someone to cover this cake matter. Can’t wait!
